Recycling Chambray cinnamon mottled
A material mix with recycled natural fibres from hemp and organic cotton, completely without plastic!
Ecologically sensible use of fabric remnants from textile production = sustainable reuse of valuable resources.
This fabric was made from 45% recycled hemp and organic cotton fibres. The pure remnants from the production of clothing are reused and spun into yarn again. A senseless (otherwise usual) incineration of these scraps is not necessary. The recycled yarn for this fabric was spun with 30% "fresh" (non-recycled) hemp fibres and 25% "fresh" (non-recycled) organic cotton fibres to obtain a durable yarn and thus guarantee a long-lasting quality of the later fabric.
Material composition: 30% hemp, 25% organic cotton, 45% recycled mix of hemp and organic cotton fibres
Colour: cinnamon mottled / chambray made of natural coloured warp thread and cinnamon coloured weft thread. The yarns are not dyed again due to the use of colour-matched remnants during recycling.
Use: for clothing such as casual shirts, jackets and coats, trousers ect. ; for home textiles: e.g. very nice as curtain fabric.
Ecology and environmental protection: the recycling of already existing materials - in this case fabric remnants, which result from production - avoids waste and its disposal, saves the resources necessary for the production of new fibres, e.g. water and energy. In addition, this recycled natural fibre material is free of environmentally harmful plastic and thus biodegradable.
