Recycling Twill goldenbrown
This fabric is a mix of recycled natural fibres – hemp and organic cotton
The material is re-using leftover fabric scraps from textile production, saving valuable resources.
This fabric is woven with recycled fibres made from hemp and organic cotton: Pre-consumer waste from textile production is spun into an new thread, instead of being burned (which is often the case in conventional production). These re-used fibres are mixed with 30% „new“ organic cotton fibres to ensure a consistent yarn, and a durable woven fabric.
Material composition: 39% recycled Organic Cotton, 31% recycled hemp, 30% "new" Organic Cotton
Colour: golden brown
Use: The fabric is suited for outerwear such as jackets and coats, as well as for trousers; for hometextiles, and makes beautiful curtains.
Ecology: Recycling, as is the case with using leftover production scraps, prevents waste and saves resources such as water and energy which otherwise would have been spent manufacturing new materials. Besides this recycled natural fibre is plastic-free and thus biodegradable.
