Certified organic cultivation

Certified organic cultivation is regulated by international as well as national organic standards. The use of chemical pesticides (insecticides, herbicides etc.), fertilisers and defoliants as well as genetically engineered seeds is forbidden.

Unfortunately, a common official seal does not yet exist. The use of the term "organic" is, however, officially restricted and the agreement with the regulations is approved by independent inspectors. See more http://www.ifoam.org/en/translations-principles-organic-agriculture
